Parking in Hampstead
To deal with the massive influx of concert-goers on our doorstep, the Town of Hampstead is instituting extraordinary parking restrictions across the community. Specifically:
ON-STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED ON ALL STREETS
ON JULY 8 AND JULY 9, except for parking permit holders
Furthermore, both parking lots at the Irving L. Adessky Community Centre (Lyncroft Road & Hampstead Road) will be restricted to use by residents and members only. Drivers parking in either of these lots will be required to present a valid Swimming and Tennis Membership Pass or a current ID card with address (drivers license or similar) to the gate attendant in order to access the lot.
Closure of Dufferin Road (between Frencroft and Dufferin Park) *REVISED*
As an extraordinary measure, Dufferin Road from Ferncroft to Dufferin Park will be CLOSED to traffic and ALL on-street parking on Saturday, July 9.
Access to this section of Dufferin will be limited to local residents living on that section of Dufferin ONLY. This measure is to limit the tremendous volume of transient traffic found on this section of the street after the first concert night.
Road closures around the Hippodrome site

Around the Hippodrome site, there will be a major police presence to ensure security. Significant parking restrictions will be in place, and many roads (including the Jean-Talon entrances and exits from the Decarie Expressway) will be closed. See the map to get a general view of road closures and their timing.
For more detailed information about specific road closures and detours, please consult ville.montreal.qc.ca/u2
We strongly recommend the use of public transit through the Namur and De la Savane métro stations, which are located in close proximity to the concert site.
