To the electors of the TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned Returning Officer that:

1.  The offices of Mayor and six (6) Councillors are open for nomination;

2.  Every nomination paper for these offices shall be filed at the office of the Returning Officer on the following days and at the following times:

From September 18, 2009 to October 2, 2009

Monday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Important Note: On Friday, October 2, 2009, the office will be open continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;

3.  If more than one candidate is nominated for the same position, a poll will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and an advance poll will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.;

4.  I have appointed Mr. Mark Gross to act as Election Clerk;
