SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 20TH, 2005

MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD HELD ON DECEMBER 20TH, 2005, AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER, 30 LYNCROFT ROAD, AT 7:35 P.M.

THOSE PRESENTS WERE:

Mayor William Steinberg, Councillors Bonnie Feigenbaum, Clifford Borden, Leon Elfassy, Abraham Gonshor and David Sternthal forming quorum.

ABSENT:

Councillor Anne-Marie Boucher-Garber

ALSO PRESENT:

Mr Richard Sun, Director General and Me Chantal Bergeron, Town clerk acting as Secretary of the meeting.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

On motion of Councillor Bonnie Feigenbaum, seconded by Councillor Clifford Borden, it was UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED

- THAT the Agenda of the special budget meeting is hereby approved as submitted.

ADOPTION OF THE 2006 BUDGET

Following the Mayor and Director General’s presentation of the 2006 Budget of the Town of Hampstead;

It was proposed by Councillor Abraham Gonshor, seconded by Councillor David Sternthal and UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED:

- THAT Council approves the Budget of $11,077,100 regarding the fiscal year 2006, as presented and deposited at this Council Meeting; and

- THAT an explanatory document be distributed to every civic address of the Town.

ADOPTION - 2006-2007-2008 CAPITAL EXPENDITURES PROGRAMME OF THE TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD

Following the Mayor and Director General’s presentation of the 2006-2007-2008 Capital Expenditures Programme for the Town of Hampstead;

It was proposed by Councillor Leon Elfassy, seconded by Councillor David Sternthal and UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED:

- THAT Council approves the 2006-2007-2008 Capital Expenditures Programme as presented and deposited at this Council Meeting; and

- THAT an explanatory document be distributed to every civic address of the Town.
