Payment Options

Tax bills may be paid in cash, by cheque or with a debit card. Credit cards, however, may not be used for payment of property taxes. Payments can be made at Town Hall during regular office hours or at the following banking institutions by phone, through the automatic teller or via the Internet:

>    BMO Financial Group
>    Caisse Populaire
>    CIBC
>    RBC Royal Bank
>    Scotia Bank
>    TD Canada Trust

All unpaid instalments carry an interest rate of 12 % annually, calculated on each individual balance per their due dates.

Returned cheques that are not honoured for payment by a financial institution will carry a $35 service charge.

Should there be a need to discuss extended payment arrangements, please contact Town Hall so we may propose a payment schedule adapted to your requirements while taking into consideration the interest charges.
