In the course of the Fire Station Redevelopment project, the Town of Hampstead has taken all necessary measures to confirm its ownership of the Fire Station property (5520 & 5560 MacDonald Avenue). This was especially important after the muncipal mergers, since property ownership was transferred to the City of Montreal between 2002 and 2005, and was transferred back to the Town of Hampstead in 2006.
