Remembrance Day Ceremony: Thursday, November 8

The Town of Hampstead, in cooperation with the Royal Montreal Regiment, invites all residents to pay their respects to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans in its annual Remembrance Day ceremony Thursday, November 8, at 11:30 am, at the Cenotaph and Holocaust Memorial in Hampstead Park (30 Lyncroft Road).

The event in Hampstead Park will be preceded by a ceremonial march of students from local schools to the memorial site, led by the soldiers of the Royal Montreal Regiment. The Regiment’s participation in Hampstead’s annual commemoration has become a tradition for the town, reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the Regiment and Hampstead.

This year we are proud to welcome Solomon Schechter Academy, Bialik High School, Royal Vale School and Talmud Torah Elementary School whose students will participate in the ceremony.

Please note that activities will take place rain or shine. Parking at Hampstead Park will be available in the Hampstead Road parking lot only, as the Lyncroft Lot will be closed for the ceremony.
