This is phase 1 of the environmental impact study by the BAPE. During these first 30 days, the BAPE invites public comments on the project.
The Cavendish Boulevard extension project as proposed by Montreal, “is an urban mobility project whose scope and benefits go far beyond the simple connection of two highways. The project includes, in addition to the connection of boulevard Cavendish itself, a connection between districts by avenue Royalmount as well as by a new link towards the east towards the site of the future eco-district Namur-Hippodrome while offering a preponderant place for public and active transport as well as the greening of the sector.”
Any person, group or municipality may submit, in writing and no later than April 15, 2022, observations and suggestions on the issues that should be addressed in the environmental impact studies that will be prepared by the City of Montreal. and submitted to the BAPE.
By submitting your comments and suggestions now, you will help guide the BAPE on the aspects of the project to focus on. After the studies and the tabling of the BAPE’s preliminary report, other information hearings and public consultations will take place.
