The Town of Hampstead wishes to inform residents that the three small playground spinners located at Aldred Park have been temporarily taped off and are currently unavailable for use.
Hampstead would like to inform residents about the upcoming street leveling and paving work scheduled for the week of August 7th. The following streets will be affected on the specified dates:
The work will begin promptly at 7 a.m. on the designated date for each street. During this period, parking will be prohibited, and there will be restrictions on the circulation of cars and delivery trucks in the affected areas. To avoid any inconvenience, please ensure that your car is moved from the designated work area before 7 a.m. If you need to leave your home during the day, kindly park your vehicle outside the affected streets until the work is completed.
For the residents of Dufferin, your exit route during the work period will be through Dufferin Circle and Ferncroft. To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, signs and signalmen will be on-site to help coordinate and guide drivers.
An overnight parking tolerance will be in effect for the North Sector of Hampstead (North of Fleet) starting from Monday, August 7th until Thursday, August 10th. Please take note that in case of any paving delays, the parking tolerance period may be extended accordingly.
The dates provided may be subject to change at short notice due to weather conditions.
