Replacement of a damaged streetlamp

LOCATION: Northwest corner of Queen Mary and Fleet

IMPACTS: Partial lane closure westbound on Fleet

Please be advised that Hampstead has arranged for the replacement of a damaged streetlamp at the northwest corner of Queen Mary and Fleet this Thursday, August 17, 2023. To execute this improvement, Hampstead has partnered with Installume. Their team will handle the excavation of the old cement base, removal of the existing streetlamp, and installation of the new one.

During this work, traffic adjustments will be necessary to facilitate a safe and efficient process. One lane will be closed westbound on Fleet and on Queen Mary. This work will be in effect starting at approximately 6:00 PM.

Installume will ensure proper signage and guidance throughout the site and a designated signal person will be on-site to manage traffic flow, guiding vehicles and pedestrians around the work area securely.

Should any sudden changes occur or if there are new potential impacts on daily routine, we will promptly notify residents via email. We encourage residents to ensure they are signed up for town alerts to stay connected.
