Snow Dump Site

Another 15 centimetres of snow is expected over the weekend. Similar to other municipalities, the Town of Hampstead will continue deposit snow onto private properties; this is unavoidable as most snow dump sites on the island are at maximum capacity. Our Public Works Department will be as careful as possible as they understand the challenges this may pose to residents. We must abide by the parameters established by provincial legislation. We appreciate your cooperation as the Town continues its snow removal operations to keep streets and roads safe.
