For immediate assistance: Public Security 514\u2011369\u20118250.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" class=\"elementor-alert-dismiss\" aria-label=\"Dismiss this alert.\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span aria-hidden=\"true\">&times;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8910208 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8910208\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Contractor&#8217;s permits<\/h2><p><strong>Contractor\u2019s permits are required\u00a0<\/strong>to conform to municipal by-laws.<\/p><p>All companies operating private gardening, landscaping, or snow removal businesses in Hampstead are\u00a0<strong>obligated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hampstead.qc.ca\/en\/city__trashed\/by-laws-and-regulations\/\">by law<\/a> to have a Contractor\u2019s Permit<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Anyone caught without a valid permit is liable to a fine of\u00a0<strong>$50 to $300 for a first offence plus court cost<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>*A repeat infraction is liable to a fine of $100 to $300 plus court cost.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Contractor\u2019s Permits are obtained on <a href=\"http:\/\/my.hampstead.qc.ca\">my.Hampstead<\/a>.<br \/><br \/><\/strong>In reference to article 6 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hampstead.qc.ca\/en\/town\/by-laws-and-regulations\/\">by-law<\/a> 795, it is prohibited to:<\/p><p>To dump snow in the streets and on the sidewalks or to make new piles of snow on the side of the streets already cleaned by the City;<\/p><p>To remove snow from a private driveway and place it in a pile beside this driveway. The snow should be distributed along the snowbanks to avoid creating large piles of snow.<\/p><p>When not carried, snow MUST be blown onto owner&#8217;s property or pushed along the side of the street near the sidewalk. Please use the side of the street that has not yet been cleared by the City to dump the snow.<\/p><p>NEVER block passage on sidewalks and all entry points to neighboring properties i.e. driveways, driveways and pathways, or bury fire hydrants or traffic signs municipal.<\/p><p>Persons who violate a provision of Nuisance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hampstead.qc.ca\/en\/city__trashed\/by-laws-and-regulations\/\">By-law<\/a> No. 795-2 and its amendments are liable to a fine.
