The fence must be 1.5 m high and prevent the passage of an object with a diameter of 10 cm. If it&#8217;s mesh, the gaps must not exceed 3 cm in width or must be equipped with slats not climbable and be designed in such a way that there are no protrusions or openings to facilitate climbing.<\/li><li><strong>Unclimbable:<\/strong> Any fence or ladder providing access to the pool must be unclimbable.<\/li><li><strong>Gate:<\/strong> Access doors to the pool must have automatic closing and locking mechanisms.<\/li><li><strong>Enclosure:<\/strong> Any enclosure of at least 1.2 m must be designed without protrusions. Install any equipment or fixed structure that could allow a child to reach the pool more than a meter away from the wall or fence.<\/li><li><strong>Diving board:<\/strong> The diving board for your pool must adhere to the standards set by the Bureau de normalisation du Qu\u00e9bec, including dimensions and minimum depth.<\/li><\/ul><p>If your pool was installed several years ago, please ensure that it complies with current provincial safety standards and complete any required corrective measures before the compliance
