FREEZING RAIN UPDATE
Rain continues across the Town of Hampstead and may shift to periods of light freezing rain through tomorrow. While ice accumulation has so far been less significant than originally forecast, Environment Canada’s freezing rain warning remains in effect.
Operations in Hampstead
Since yesterday, our Public Works team has been applying salt and abrasives throughout the Town. Sidewalks and roadways are being monitored continuously, and additional interventions will be carried out as needed to maintain safe conditions for everyone.
Municipal Collections
Recycling collection will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 12.
Please place your bin at the edge of your property before 7:00 a.m. and ensure the lid is free of ice and able to open properly.
Municipal Services
Town Hall will be open tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, offering regular in‑person municipal services.
