The Canadian government, through Public Safety Canada, strongly recommends that every citizen be prepared for an emergency. In the event of a disaster, it’s essential to be able to provide for your family during the first 72 hours, while emergency crews come to the aid of the most vulnerable.

Public Safety Canada stresses the importance of having an emergency kit on hand to meet essential needs until help arrives or services are restored. A portable kit is also essential for acting quickly if evacuation is necessary.

Your preparedness can greatly influence your safety and that of your loved ones in a critical situation. Follow their recommendations and take action today to be ready in the event of an emergency.
