To ensure efficient, structured, and equitable handling of service requests, residents are encouraged to report any issue or submit a request through the request system available in their my.Hampstead citizen portal account.

This process allows for timely follow-up by the appropriate department, clear tracking of requests, and responses that are aligned with operational priorities.

Écocentre Côte-des-Neiges

Écocentres are the proper place to dispose of products that are harmful to health or the environment. They also accept construction debris, metal, used electronic devices, clothes and other objects that can be recycled or repurposed.

Please note, the Écocentres is a free service. Hampstead’s public works also offers waste disposal services to residents, but with an associated cost. To initiate the process, residents must submit a brief description and picture of the item they wish to have collected. This can be done through the portal or the info mailbox.

Upon receiving the request, public works will provide residents with a cost estimate. If accepted, a square invoice will be sent to the resident. Once the invoice is paid, public works will schedule the requested pickup.
