Day camp

The Town of Hampstead is excited to announce that we will be offering an 8-week summer day camp program this year out of the Irving L. Adessky Community centre in Hampstead Park. Our goal this summer is to provide a safe, fun, and diversified program for kids to enjoy their summer with their friends.

Registration will open for Town of Hampstead residents on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 9:00am. All payment will be done online:  50% of camp fees are due at time of registration and the other 50% is due by May 15.

Registration will open for Non-Residents on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 9:00am.

Space is limited so do not delay. Waiting lists will be compiled on a first come first served basis.

How do I register?

All registrations must be completed ONLINE through our website. Make sure you’re ready:
✅ Create your My.Hampstead account.
✅ Add your family members to your account and create citizen cards for each member of your family
✅ HAMPSTEAD/CSL/MTL-WEST: Apply for your citizen card (proof of residence is required for both children and adults).

Your cards must be approved before you can register. Please allow time for this process.

These steps must be completed before you can proceed with registration. This requirement is essential.

Designed for teens, our CIT program helps youth discover their potential, give back to the community, and develop life-long leadership skills.  CITs will have the opportunity to shadow actual counsellors (Monday-Thursday), plan and execute activities, as well as participate in leadership workshops.  In addition, they will also have the chance to work on job interview and resume skills, better preparing them for life outside of high school. Many CITs can move upward within our staff to become junior counsellors.  Special fieldtrips geared just for them help enhance the fun! (additional costs may be added for transportation)
