Hampstead – Sports and sociocultural activities

Registration for municipal programs is done exclusively online via the mon.Hampstead citizen portal.

No registrations will be accepted by phone or email.

All registrations must be completed via the mon.Hampstead portal.

Spring registration

Registration opens on:

  • March 16 for residents
  • March 23 for non-residents

Important information

  1. Programs have limited capacity, therefore registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to residents.
  2. Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. A payment link will be sent by email. A spot is only secured once the payment has been completed.

Comment to register online

You must have an online account on the mon.hampstead citizen portal, and you must have registered your family and obtained your citizen card in order to proceed with registration. We recommend completing these steps before registration day. Visit our YouTube account for videos explaining the process.

You must select Activities (the bicycle button) and choose the activity you would like to register your child for. Don’t forget to add them to your family member list in the portal to make future registrations easier.

General information
Rules and Regulations
  1. Fees, locations, and dates are subject to change without notice.
  2. Programs may be cancelled if there are not enough registered participants.
  3. We reserve the right to close registrations.
  4. Registration fees and programs are non-transferable.
  5. GST and QST are included in all prices unless otherwise specified. All activities for participants aged 14 and over are taxable.
  6. Please note that fees will be charged for any payment returned by the bank; outstanding balances must be paid in full before continuing a program or registering for other programs.
  7. Participants are fully responsible for the facilities and equipment provided to them by the Town of Hampstead.
  8. Providing inaccurate information on your registration form will result in the cancellation of your registration and forfeiture of your fees.
  9. Each program/activity includes a set of policies that will be communicated to participants at the beginning of each session.
  10. If errors are found in the brochure, corrections and/or adjustments may be made without penalty to the Town.
Promotions cannot be combined.
Residency and Fees
Hampstead Residents Individuals currently residing in Hampstead are eligible for resident rates. Apply for your citizen card through our portal!As a courtesy, residents of Côte Saint-Luc and Montreal West may also benefit from the resident rates offered by Hampstead for sports and sociocultural programs (excluding ice hockey, swimming pool, and tennis). Proof of residency is required.To benefit from these rates, two (2) proofs of residency are required, including one (1) with photo identification. Accepted documents include: driver’s licence, health insurance card, school report card, tax bill, original birth certificate, and passport.An RL-24 slip is issued by the system for children registered in our day camp programs and certain preschool programs. It is your responsibility to provide your social insurance number during registration in order to receive your RL-24.

Refund Policy

Only written requests will be considered for refunds. If approved, the refund will be calculated on a prorated basis and subject to a 20% administration fee based on the total cost of the program/season. No refunds will be granted after the first third of the program, regardless of the payment date.

Medical Refunds:

Any refund request for medical reasons must be accompanied by a medical certificate. If approved, the refund will be calculated on a prorated basis and a 10% administration fee will apply. Refund requests for medical reasons must be submitted before the end of the program. Please note that all doctor’s notes must be submitted within one month of the refund request date; otherwise, the refund will be processed according to the general refund policy.

Equipment

We ask that each participant attend their program with appropriate footwear and a water bottle. In addition, it is important to ensure that you have or obtain the required equipment before the beginning of the session.

This program features a combination of drills and games. Mandatory equipment includes, helmet with full face mask, gauntlets, hockey stick, running shoes, jock and shin pads.

This program offers a combination of drills and games designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball. Everyone is welcome to try and learn this great sport! Basketball shoes are required.

This beginner SNAG golf program is designed to help children develop fundamental skills and a love for the game. Children use colorful, oversized golf clubs and balls. All necessary equipment is provided.

From an early age, we teach children to love baseball. They will develop hand-eye coordination and balance, and learn how to run the bases, hit, throw, catch, and more. Several day and time options are available during the spring session.

New this year, our U-9 baseball program is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of baseball! Children aged 7 and 8 will learn the fundamental rules of the game while developing essential skills such as hitting, throwing, base running, and catching, through fun and engaging practices and games.

Volunteer parent coaches will be required.

The uniform (shirt and cap) will be provided. Please wear baseball pants or sweatpants.

This program for ages 9 to 13 reinforces the fundamentals, confidence, and enjoyment of the game in a structured environment. Participants will develop their skills in batting, throwing, catching, defensive play, base running, and basic game strategy through drills adapted to all skill levels.

Competitive baseball program with teams playing a full, intense regular season of 10 games, as well as playoff series and team practices throughout the season.

Weekday and weekend time slots available.

The season runs from mid-April (evaluations and tryouts) to June 20 (at the latest).

A serious commitment is required.

This program focuses on skill development and learning through play. Children are introduced to soccer through drills and small-sided games.

Jersey, shorts, and socks are provided for the spring session only and may be kept.

Shin guards are mandatory. Soccer shoes are recommended.

Get ready for fun, excitement, and physical activity with our Sports and Games program designed especially for children aged 3 and 4! This dynamic program introduces little ones to the basics of T-ball, soccer, ball games, relay races, and much more. Through age-appropriate activities, children will develop coordination, teamwork, and motor skills while having fun.

Starting April 26 for a duration of 8 weeks.

Parents must remain on site for the duration of the program.
