Payment of Fines

Municipal Fines or Parking Tickets

The Public Security of the Town of Hampstead and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) issue a fine for non-compliance with municipal regulations and the Highway Safety Code. The Municipal Court of the Ville de Montréal is responsible for processing fines issued across the entire island.

Have you received a text message asking you to pay a fine?

This is likely a scam attempt.

The municipal court does not contact individuals by text message regarding payments.
If in doubt, do not click on any links and contact the Town directly.
