Although the Town of Hampstead does not operate its own public library, literacy, lifelong learning and access to cultural resources remain core community priorities.
Since 2010, the Town has offered a Library Rebate Program to help residents access public library services throughout the Island of Montréal. The program allows households to choose the institution that best meets their interests and location preferences.
By providing financial support, the Town promotes broader access to library collections, digital resources and cultural programming available in neighbouring communities.
