The Town of Hampstead wishes to inform residents that the results from the first series of tests conducted on the water distribution system have returned compliant and show no contamination of the drinking water.
However, in accordance with established procedures from the competent authorities, the preventive boil water advisory remains in effect until the second and final series of results expected tomorrow is received.
The Town thanks residents for their patience and cooperation.
