The Town of Hampstead wishes to inform residents that, due to excavation work, westbound Fleet between Queen Mary and Pinedale will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, September 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A detour will be in place via neighbouring streets to help maintain traffic flow in the area. Traffic control personnel will also be on site to assist motorists and ensure the safety of all road users.

To keep residents informed throughout the Fleet resurfacing project, the Town will share a dedicated newsletter in the coming days outlining the contractor’s schedule, anticipated traffic impacts, planned mitigation measures, and other relevant information related to this major infrastructure project.
