As part of Emergency Preparedness Week, a siren test will take place on May 6. The test helps ensure the proper operation of the alert system used to warn the population in the event of a major industrial incident in nearby areas.
Although there are no such facilities in Hampstead, some residents may hear the siren due to our proximity to neighbouring sectors.
No action is required during the test.
