Every year, the Town of Hampstead holds a Remembrance Day Commemoration Ceremony. This year, it was held on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Several organizations gathered at Hampstead Park to honour our veterans and laid wreaths to recognize their bravery and sacrifice:

Chelsea Craig, Director of Operations Office of Anthony Housefather, MP for Mount Royal; Elisabeth Prass, MNA, D’Arcy-McGee; Mayor Jeremy Levi and Councillors Jack Edery and Harvey Shaffer of the Town of Hampstead; Mayor Mitchell Brownstein, City of Côte Saint-Luc; Major Giuseppe Talarico, CD;  The Royal Montreal Regiment; Sergeant Megal Johnson, CD War Memorial, Rabbi Levi New of the Montreal Torah Center – Holocaust Memorial; RMR Association, Branch 14, The Royal Canadian Legion; Lieutenant Jonathan Aubé (PDQ 9) of the City of Montreal Police Department as well as Hampstead, Bialik, JPPS, Merton, Herzliah Schools, and Solomon Schechter Academy.
