The Town of Hampstead wishes to inform residents that the intersection of Avenue Fleet and Chemin Queen-Mary will remain closed to traffic throughout the weekend.

Maintaining the closure will allow the contractor to complete the current work as efficiently as possible and begin the next phase of the project first thing Monday morning. This approach is intended to accelerate the overall progress of the work and help restore regular traffic conditions as soon as possible.

We understand that this temporary traffic disruption is causing considerable inconvenience for residents, motorists, and neighbouring communities. The Town is working closely with the contractor to advance the project efficiently while maintaining a safe environment for workers and all road users.

Motorists are asked to plan their routes accordingly and continue following all posted signage, detour instructions, and directions provided by Public Security Officers and traffic personnel.

The Town sincerely thanks residents and motorists for their continued patience, understanding, and cooperation.
