The Town of Hampstead reminds all residents that, in accordance with the provisions of Municipal By-law No. 795-2, Sections 9.11 and 9.12, it is strictly prohibited to engage in any door-to-door solicitation for monetary donations, fundraising purposes, or the promotion of goods and services without first obtaining written authorization from the Town Manager or their duly authorized representative.

Section 9.12 specifies that this prohibition does not apply to school children residing within the Town who are collecting funds on behalf of a non-profit organization.

The Town expressly urges residents to promptly report to Public Security any individual or organization found engaging in unauthorized door-to-door solicitation within our territory.
