The Town of Hampstead wishes to inform its residents that the playgrounds at ELLERDALE, APPLEWOOD, LANGHORNE, and DUFFERIN parks are temporarily closed for the safety of the residents. These four parks currently have a wasp infestation in the sand. As a precaution, the areas have been barricaded. Exterminators will be coming today and tomorrow to resolve the issue. Residents are asked to cooperate by respecting this temporary restriction to avoid any potential incidents.
