Road safety is reaching a new milestone in Hampstead. Our streets are evolving, but our message remains the same: Take It Slow.

In 2026, the campaign returns with expanded reach, driven by a clear conviction: better-designed infrastructure and responsible behaviour save lives. As valued partners in this initiative, the SPVM and the SAAQ are once again joining the Town of Hampstead to support this renewed campaign and strengthen, together, public awareness efforts among all road users.

Beginning this summer and continuing into the fall, the Town will roll out new targeted traffic-calming measures in several priority sectors to reduce speeds and sustainably improve safety for all users.

Educate, design, protect: Hampstead is acting on every front.
