Water supply interuption on Stratford (Ellerdale to Thurlow)
Please be advised that as part of the ongoing pipe lining work, there will be a planned water supply interuption on Stratford (Ellerdale to Thurlow).
Monday, August 7, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Residents directly impacted will receive a paper notice from the contracted company ForAction. At the scheduled time, there will be no water supply to your residence. We kindly request your cooperation and understanding during this temporary inconvenience. We recommend that you make appropriate arrangements to store enough water for your basic needs during the specified timeframe.
If you are currently connected to a blue pipe, please disregard the advisory as this means you are connected to a temporary water source and will not be impacted.
Once the water supply is restored, it is highly recommended that you take precautionary measures to remove any initial sediments that may be present in the pipes. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Open an exterior faucet (garden tap) or the bath faucet.
- Allow a moderate flow of water for a few minutes.
This will help flush out any sediments that might have accumulated during the pipe lining work.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and assure you that every effort will be made to complete the pipe lining work within the specified time frame.
